REMOTE SUPERVISION AND CONTROL SOFTWARE
The washing plant management software developed by Raimondi S.r.l. allows to continuously monitor machine operation and parameters.
In case of failure it makes troubleshooting easier, because of the continuous collection of information about the status of the machine components, of the log of the operation performed and of the alarm list; this means shorter down time for maintenance reasons.
The same functionality is available by remote in four ways:
1. Modem connection
2. WI-FI connection
3. LAN connection
4. Wire connection
All these features can be mixed together for best fitting of the customer needs.
Modem connection
This connection is obtained by means of a dedicated PSTN phone line, and allows a complete control of the plant by remote. User can operate the plant in the same way as a local operator can do acting on the control panel; by means of this connection, Raimondi’s Maintenance Service can update the control switchboard PLC software, for patches or functionality improvement.
WI-FI connection
With this kind of connection all the plant parameters can be remoted from control room near the plant to workshop premises. Using a laptop or a desktop with WI-FI facilities and a standard Internet browser, user can monitor plant status and functionality: the monitor shows the same screenshot of the control panel on the switchboard.
No control can be made through this connection.
LAN connection
PLC controls an integrated ADSL router with static IP address, and act as web server; in this way the plant can be seen on the net from all the enabled user. This kind of connection allows the development of a huge quantity of monitoring application .
Wire connection
Plant can be driven by a remote console, linked by wire to the control switchboard. On this console is fitted the same HMI as the control switchboard in the technical room; thus operator can see the same information about plant operation and can drive the plant in the same way as by means of the control switchboard. For example, operator can enable or disable the washing plant or every single station; all these operations are in compliance with safety standards.
